We are community built and want to see you thrive, based on your application and your mission we will adjust the application fee to make it work for you.

Products: The Coop is divided up into five main areas in which we source from the highest quality available for our members.
  1. Seeds - all organic, selected for the bay area climate and from the best seed companies and growers we know.
  2. Starts - Growing year round successions of the crops that do well in our bio-region, These are 1/2" plugs, to 1.5" starter plants, to larger 4" and 1 gallon perennials for hedgerows and orchard systems; plus a constant supply of microgreens!
  3. Soil - Exclusive bay area distribution of BIO365 soil mixes and soil conditioners, compost teas and vermiculture.
  4. Supplies - Specialized irrigation parts and bulk materials, amazing selection of TOOLS, specifically for the small farm and urban grower
  5. Support - Growing in the city is hard and we need support in order to pull off a successful harvest time and again. Our staff and resources provide you with all the support you need to grow for it!

In Store Consultations: Schedule a appointment at the DIRT Bar, where we can get into the nuances of growing and issues you are facing, problem solving and understanding soil tests, pest problems and crop issues. These are 30-45 min sessions that you sign up for in advance. We are talking about growing apples not fixing them.

Types of Memberships and Cost

Membership Costs -  Each membership has a suggested fee associated with it based on the type of supplies and support you are looking for. Each member fills out an application by clicking the application button and based on your organization, business, mission and income we rate your membership with a cost. The costs listed below are a baseline in which we start from, Your particular cost might be more or less based on the information you provide and need.
All membership fees include a $10 coop fee and the rest of your fee goes to the products and services you want! Thus a $45 monthly membership has a $10 fee to the coop and then $35 going towards your needs.

Healthy Soil Program - Soil in the urban landscape has not been treated very well, often the dumping ground of industry and poor land management. In order to grow the most you ever thought possible we need good soils to plant our crops. We can get you the soil you need, condition the soil you have or take your soil to recondition. The healthy soils program looks at long term soil fertility and regenerative management practices in order to make best use of the precious resource.
