The Top Leaf Farm Apprenticeship is an intensive, 6-month program focused on building skill sets with aspiring urban farmers. Our mission is to equip growers with the educational and technical skills through applied learning modules that they will need to become successful organic urban farmers within their communities. We are looking for individuals who are responsible, motivated, passionate about learning new skills and committed to growing food as a profession.

OVERVIEW Educational Approach Our apprenticeship program is a combination of applied hands on education through work, formalized class time, field trips, and structured feedback sessions. We currently are offering only 2 positions which creates a rich learning environment as the apprentices work side by side with our farm supervisor and manager. We have 2 scheduled education session a month which allow apprentices to deepen knowledge and skill of both core concepts and specialized topics.
